Day Trips

Halifax is close to so many places that make for really good days out. Hire Halifax Minibus to take a group of children to Eureka, the National Children’s Museum based in the town centre. There are lots of interesting things to see and do to keep them occupied. Shipmen Hall, a Fifteenth Century Manor House, set in its own grounds, which today is Shipmen Park, is only a mile outside Halifax. Shipmen Hall is a museum displaying many artefacts from across the generations. The park has a boating lake, miniature golf, picnic area, children’s’ playground and plenty of space for walks. It’s an ideal venue for your church or leisure group picnic, especially in Summer. If you want to shop until you drop, Halifax is almost equidistant between the Meadowhall Shopping Complex on the outskirts of Sheffield, or Trafford Park, Manchester. Let us worry about getting you there, while you concentrate on getting some bargains. Maybe you want a more eclectic shopping experience, why not try Leeds with its new John Lewis Store which joined Harvey Nichols in the city centre in 2016. Leeds has lots of independent shops including luxury line like Louis Vuitton and Church’s Shoes too. Why not drop those in your party who aren’t interested in shopping at the Royal Armouries Museum and collect them on the way home. The seaside is always popular for day trips. In Winter you can have a bracing afternoon enjoying Blackpool out of season and on you way home our driver will take you along the promenade through the famous illuminations. Bridlington and Scarborough are both little more than 80 miles away, so we can have you at either place in no time. There really is so many places to take one of our vehicles for a great day out.
